We're opening in Birr — and we can't wait to meet you

HealthPoint is a family-owned Irish pharmacy group with pharmacies right across the midlands and into east Leinster — and on Monday 31 August 2026, we're adding Birr to that family.

We have been working towards this opening for the past two years, and we are absolutely delighted to finally be here. Birr is a town we know well — our team has family connections here, ties to local clubs, and friends throughout the community. Coming to Birr isn't us arriving somewhere new; in many ways, it already feels like home.

What excites us most is being based inside Birr Primary Care Centre, right alongside the GPs. That kind of close working relationship between pharmacy and medicine is something we genuinely believe in — it means better, more joined-up care for every patient who walks through the door.

We're starting out with a team of five, and we fully expect that to grow as we get to know the community and as the community gets to know us. We're in this for the long haul — not just to dispense prescriptions, but to be a real part of life here in Birr.

Medicines advice you can trust Our pharmacists take time to make sure you understand what you're taking and why. If something doesn't seem right, we'll flag it — and we'll work with your GP to sort it.
